A self-stylized “northern girl”, Katie grew up in New England. After completing her undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance, she pursued a career in nursing. In 2014, Katie moved to Florida with her husband, Hal. There, she worked as a critical care nurse for three years before starting her graduate program in Nurse Anesthesia. Following her graduation in 2019, Katie and Hal moved to Washington State after falling in love with the Pacific Northwest while visiting family there the prior year.
Katie became interested in aesthetics while working as an anesthesia provider in outpatient cosmetic surgery. Having struggled with cystic acne, while also being a low-maintenance kind of girl, she had never even had a facial! She was excited to find that her attention to detail and extensive training in anatomy as a nurse anesthetist translated well to medical aesthetics. She completed basic and advanced neurotoxin and dermal filler injection courses with Aesthetic Medical Educators Training, a leading force in aesthetics training since 2003. She also completed additional training in advanced filler techniques through Galderma and continues to expand her growing knowledge base whenever the opportunity arises.
In her free time, Katie enjoys all that the outdoors has to offer, hiking and exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband and their three dogs. She can also be found curled up on the couch with her Kindle or singing with the Seattle Symphony Chorale.

Kat started her nursing career six years ago in Florida as a medical-surgical nurse before moving back to Texas and stepping into a critical care position. During the pandemic, she furthered her nursing career as a travel nurse for over two years, caring for critically-ill patients and developing a love for traveling. After discovering the beauty of Washington, Kat moved to the Seattle area with her husband, Jeremy, and their two cats to open Touch of Beauty Medispa with her friend, Katie Conley.
Being Filipina, skin care is not only personal but cultural so when Katie introduced her to aesthetic nursing, Kat was excited to expand her career and serve her clients in a whole new way. She completed her basic neurotoxin and dermal filler injection course with Aesthetic Medical Educators Training, a leading force in aesthetics training since 2003. She also completed advanced dermal filler training and techniques with Katie, the Medical Director of Touch of Beauty Medispa. Now, Kat helps her clients express their natural beauty through aesthetic nursing.
In her free time, Kat enjoys hiking with her husband and rock-crawling in the mountains with her 4Runner. She also loves trying new restaurants, finding new adventures, playing video games or binge-watching shows.
